For the service on 19th March 2023 in the Johanneschurch -Langen we were pleased to welcome as guests Pfarrerin Musch and many confirmands of the “Evangelische Kirche Langen”.

At the beginning of the service there was an introduction into the origin of the Mar Thoma Church and an explanation of our lithurgy which was presented by our kids and youths. The service was mostly celebrated in Malayalam, so the confirmation group got a good insight into the usual Mar Thoma services. The German language was also used in some elements of the service.

At the end of the service the questions of the confirmands could be answered. Especially the censor (Weihrauchfass) was met with great interest. Our Vicar Johnson M.John explained the characteristics of the censer and its meaning.

This blessed Sunday ended for all participants of the service in a lively dialogue and of course with coffee, juices and sweet snacks.
