By the grace of God on the 6th of February 2021 the Switzerland and Germany Congregations of the Mar Thoma Syrian Church were able to host a Felicitation meeting for the newly enthroned Metropolitan Dr.Theodosius, XXII Mar Thoma and to commemorate the 70th year of our Diocesan Bishop, Dr. Issac Mar Philexenos Episcopa through the online Zoom platform.
The felicitation addresses were delivered by the following eminent invited guests of honour:
- Fr. Prof. Dr. Ioan Sauca, General Secretary of the World Council of Churches
- Bishop Dr. Harald Rein, Old Catholic Church, Switzerland
- Prof.Rev.Dr. Angela Berlis, Vice Chair, Department of Old Catholic Theology, University of Bern
- Dr. Mathews George Chunakara, General Secretary of CCA
- Dr. Manoj Kurian, Coordinator of the World Council of Churches -Ecumenical Advocacy Alliance
The occasion was also blessed by the exemplary reply speeches of our Metropolitan and Diocesan Bishop focusing on Ecumenism and service to humanity.
