As every year (since 2018) a prayer for peace is organised by various foreign communities and free congregations as part of the Annual Intercultural Weeks in the district of Offenbach. At the invitation of the organisers (Evangelical Church EKHN from Hesse) and the Office for Migration of the city of Langen, the Mar-Thoma congregation also took part in this prayer circle. Together with our congregation, eight other congregations of different denominations and nationalities took part in the prayer for peace on 30th October 2022. The venue and host this year was the New Apostolic Church in Langen. After the common prayer of the individual congregations, there was an open and friendly dialogue with all participants. The contribution of the Mar Thoma congregation through the children/youth was explicitly appreciated.
